How I came to know that “Connection is Key”

I was invited to a workshop by Marshall Rosenberg on Nonviolent Communication by a friend in my meditation group. Initially, I told him I was not interested in going. I was surprised at his response. Instead of trying to convince me that I should go, he expressed his disappointment. I became curious to check out the website ( and became interested in learning about non-violent communication. I attended the weekend workshop with Marshall Rosenberg. During the course, I was surprised at how easily Marshall Rosenberg was able to relate to people and from time to time, I could see that some people were very moved. What attracted me most about the non-violent communication process was the fact that I experienced it as having a spiritual basis that was a fit with my own spiritual path (
